36a Our friends from Fukuyama
From left to right, top .... Akie and his wife Mika and Eleanor. Mika and Akie are due to have their first baby in February. Akie lived in Vancouver for a few years while going to school. The three other girls are fiends of Akie and Mika. From top to bottom, Tamami, Yoko and Yuko. Aikie and Mika were kind enough to take us to Miyajima for the day. Miyajima is just outside Hiroshima.

John Ward is an accomplished photographer living in Burlington Ontario. He and Eleanor travel often and the various bolgs you are viewing represent some of his best photographs. John's previous experience has been in commercial, portrait and wedding photography as well as black and white developing and printing. In the 1970's John also contributed "Village People" to the Bloor West Villager, a monthly newspaper in Toronto. John is a current member of the Latow Photographers' Guild.
